Common name

Description

Rhizome short; rhizome scales deltoid in outline. Fronds tufted, sessile. Lamina up to 12 x 2 cm, lanceolate in outline, apex rounded, base gradually narrowed, margins uneven, midrib visible, prominent on the upper surface; viens obsolete. Sori at an angle, thick, overlapping about 1/2 of their length, not reaching either the costa or the margin, sometimes appearing submarginal.
